Everyone needs their “batteries” recharged and Shluchos are no different. Very often we go about our daily lives helping others without realizing or paying attention to the fact that we also need help. One of the many ways a shlucha can be helped is by coming to the Kinus Hashluchos. In addition to all the amazing workshops and sessions offered by the Kinus committee, which in it of itself is worth coming for, it’s the coming together, the achdus, the sense of belonging to the Rebbe’s army that does it for many of us Shluchos. It is difficult to describe in words the feeling we get when each of us returns to our Makom Hashlichus with rejuvenated chayus after an amazing Kinus year after year.
It is worth coming just for this!
Unfortunately there are many Shluchos that have never experienced this feeling and others who seldom have had the chance. The reason is simple – they don’t have the financial means to pay for the ticket.
A few years ago 3 Shluchos undertook the task of raising money for Shluchos in need of financial assistance. Originally the idea was for Shluchos to support Shluchos but as word spread not only was money raised from Shluchos and their families but many Anash families came forwarded and generously supported this project. BH so far each year we have managed to pay for over 30 Shluchos to come to NY for the kinus from all over the world. Some received the full fare while others received partial (the system works on a case by case basis).
Every dollar raised goes directly towards tickets for shluchos!
We know that there are people who think/feel “why should I give money for someone to fly to NY, when they can’t put bread on the table” and our answer to this is two-fold:
a) This is not a campaign to raise money for the Shlucha’s daily needs. That’s for the shluchim to worry about and deal with. What we are doing is providing the opportunity for Shluchos to get the Ruchniyus/spiritual food they need, want and deserve
b) Putting bread on the table is important but so is the person that needs to be at that table! By contributing to this worthy cause we guarantee that they are sitting there with a warm smile and the strength they need to do the things they do.
With just a few short weeks left to the kinus and due to the overwhelming response from Shluchos in need of assistance to come to NY for the kinus, we are once again asking for your generous assistance in this mitzvah.
We are all the Rebbe’s Shluchos and we all need inspiration.
THANK YOU!

Im willing to book tickets with airline miles at cost
I live driving distance to ch and I give every year. I do not have the extra money. But I know that if I lived a flight away- and I was able to fly in for $54 or $100 I would grab the ticket and figure out the money. So that’s what I give. I encourage all my fellow Shluchos in the tri state area to do the same!!!
