Chabad of Durham Region, directed by Shluchim Rabbi Tzali and Chana Borenstein, is holding a 36 hour matching funds campaign in honor of their son Zalman who is battling a rare brain tumor.
6 months ago, Zalman was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. In the last few months he has lost his ability walk, use his hands and then 6 weeks ago he lost his speech as well.
“In the last 2 weeks we have seen a slight improvement in Zalman’s condition,” his father Rabbi Borenstein told COLlive. “May we see a Chanukah miracle where my Zalman will IY”H have a complete Refuah Shleima.”
