If those people who wish to ban Israeli products would only find out the truth about who is really the aggressor in Israel, they would withhold their opposition. Do your research and don’t believe what the media pushes down your throats.

This didn't actually HAPPEN yet

1 member (out of 14,000) Proposed this. It didn’t actually happen. It’s not on the co-op agenda.

Usually, you are right. This time not. Anti semitism is anti semitism.

A forum is a grand opportunity to educate, let us go into the meeting with power point, of truths. all of the youtube, facebook coverage of how in human they treat their own people, I am really sorry to hear this as I just joined a week ago, but would organize a bail out if such a proposal would pass.

Liberals, naturalists, greens and their ilk, are the biggest lovers of terrorists and by default haters of Israel and the Jews. That is a sad fact.

So you are upset about their kavonna?! If it saves many from being nichshal in truma maasser shmita orla etc. – then who cares their intent. It is like, “mitoch shelo lishma, ba lishma”. If a goy helps you, do you really care that he does it for his own cheshbon?! If someone gave you a million dollars because he wants you to become a grobba ferd, would you turn down the money?? If someone gave you a car because he hopes you have an accident in it, would you be upset about the gift?? Do YOU get the point??

Not selling Israeli fruit or veggies avoids issues of halacha that most buyers easily overlook – ma’asser. truma, shmita, orla etc. So…maybe it’s not such a bad idea not to sell this produce, PROVIDED they carry MORE Israeli products that don’t carry such concerns.

It is important to keep updated on this

alot of people belong there from our shechuna, we need to know about this.
Its disturbing that people WANT to do it. Not as much that they want to impose it, because I don’t believe that they can do such a thing. But its upsetting that there are enough people that would believe that this is something that should be done….

Absurd

Who is the Ringleader @ the co-op who proposed this preposperous idea of a ban on Israeli products.? Let him step forward and fess up. What an embarrassment for the good people who work there. I am a proud working member @ the co-op for four years but wouldd quit in a heartbeat if this were to pass.
