Chana simcha and family
Being a close family friend, Brana Shaina was so much a part of our childhood, in Crown Hts and at Koltuv Bungalow Colony way back when. Wherever she was she motivated all of us to do the right thing and do our best and go the extra mile and she did this not by lecturing but simply by being a role model and an example of what’s right. She never seemed to linger or make cheshbonos but just “did” and she did so much. Seriously, in her presence I found new strength and vigor to do more on a personal… Read more »

Brana Sheina, I just sat with you a whole Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur in 770 as we have for the past 20 years. Sitting so close…. You taught me so much about how to daven. Saying every single with word with so much kavanah and feeling….. Brana Sheina…You did not even go home for the break. You stayed in shul saying more tehillim. And then after the fast instead of running out you davened Maariv and listened to Havdalah. I am in total shock!! Brana Sheina, you would come to Shul every single Shabbos in the summer . You… Read more »

Brana Sheina A”H was one of the first people I met when wemoved to Crown Heights 30 years ago. Such a fine lady, always a good word, a real dugma chaya. What a terrible loss, not only to her family but to eveyone who had the zchus to know her. I don’t have the right words, I am in shock.
Our sincere condolences to the families, from Eretz Yisroel.
To the Deitsch families, the Shatzmans, the Bergs, and all the extended families. We were one of those who knew her as Bonnie, from Danielson. We have many fond memories! We should only emulate all her good! Vita Goldstein

Still cant believe this!!!
Mrs. Deitsch was a true leader and a wonderful human being. She was a true ashes chayil and left an indelible mark on our entire community. She will be missed by everyone. We extend our condolences to the entire Deitsch and Gestetner family.
The Schonbuch family
Brana Shaina, also known to many of us old timers as Bonnie, was the epitome of principle resulting in action. Her p’tirah is shocking beyond words. The Deitsch family without her is simply unimagineable. She was a doer – may she succeed in cajoling Der Aibershter to send Moshiach immediately.
Every person…I host or feed in my home for almost 30 years is all to her credit. I spent many years in her home and it shaped the way I am today. No words can describe her and how much we will miss her. But one thing…we will continue to make her proud. We love you and miss you. Cadaner family
Complete shock, our love, and thoughts go out to all her family.
This is such a shock!!! There are no words…
I just spoke with Brana Shaina, obm, (!!!!!!) during Aseret Yemei Teshuva. I had spent an amazing Rosh HaShanna in Fairfax where her son, Rabbi Shokie Deitsch, sheyiche is an outstanding shaliach of the Rebbe, ZY’A. My kesher with Brana Shaina, goes back almost to the time that I moved to Crown Heights, nearly 40 years ago. Although not in frequent contact, our conversation picked up where we left off. Nothing prepared me for hearing this painful news. There really is no comfort possible until the Immediate Geula, Keyh yehi ratzon, Amen! Mrs. Penina Metal
A true אשת חייל
She will be missed by many
אבידה גדולה ושוק מוחלט! אין מילים לתאר. אשת חייל אמיתית מלאה באהבת ישראל. יקוצו ישני עפר והיא בתוכם
There are no words! A beautiful, giving and generous person her entire life! A good and true friend who will always be fondly remembered. May she be a gutteh better for her family and all Klal Yisroel.
