Rabbi Schneur and Chanie Oirechman, Shluchim in Tallahassee, Florida, have updated on the condition of their 5-year-old son Shmuly, who was badly injured after getting shot in the eye with an arrow last Lag B’Omer.
Shmuly went through a surgical eye procedure this morning in Los Angeles, by his Doctor at UCLA.
“Overall the doctor is happy with the eye and says it looks like it was successfully saved,” Oirechman told COLlive. “The doctor says it’s way too early to talk about vision and we are sure that we will continue to see revealed blessings and miracles,” he said.
Little Shmuly will have to undergo another surgery after Pesach to remove some scar tissues from under his retina, Oirechman notified, which will be followed by 2 weeks of required lying face down.
“G-d willing, with the Rebbe’s brachos we will only report more good news in the future,” Rabbi Oirechman said.
Please continue to daven and say Tehillim chapter 6 for Boruch Shmuel ben Chana for his complete vision to be restored.

The Aibishter should grant your son a complete heeling!
We are praying for you.
You should continue to hear good tidings!

Thank you for this update. I have continuously been thinking of Shmuely (and saying Tehillim for him) and wondered how he is. IYH the operation will be a complete success. I must be honest, I did not think after all these months he would still need surgery.
May we continue to hear Besuros Tovos!
Thank you for following up and sharing good news!

May you have continued reveal good! We’re all rooting for you little one! Sending lots of love and support to the family during these tough times!
Thank you for the good news and for the progress update. I have accumulated a long list of names that I try to mention almost every day and give tzedaka for at times. I often wonder how many on my list are doing, but have no way of finding out usually so I’ve held onto to ever growing list in hopes it’s helping but knowing little or nothing in truth.
so happy to hear! refuah sheleimah!
BH for all the miracles!
Shmuly has gone through so much, may he have a speedy recovery! Hope he will go back to playing and smiling like all other children his age
