A new Sefer Torah was written in memory of Rabbi Yoel Kahn OBM, the Head Choizer of the Rebbe’s Torah and the preeminent teacher of Chassidus in the last generation, on his first Yartzeit.
Rabbonim, Mashpiim, and students of R’ Yoel gathered at his home in Crown Heights for the writing of the final letters by renowned Sofer Rabbi Moshe Klein.
The Torah writing was coordinated by Rabbi Zalman Leib Markowitz of Monsey, NY, and Rabbi Dovid Meizlish of Williamsburg.
It will be completed on Chai Elul with a celebration at Beis Menachem in Boro Park.
