What a chassidic farbrengen can accomplish, even Malach Michoel cannot, a known saying goes. Tonight, it might be taken literally.
A 10-year-old Chabad boy is in desperate need of a Bone Marrow Transplant and help will be sought from participants of the Central Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen to take place Tuesday night at Campus Chomesh in Crown Heights.
Unfortunately the boy’s medical situation has deteriorated lately and he was admitted to the hospital, family members told COLlive.com. They ill be holding a Bone Marrow Drive at farbrengen.
“This is an amazing opportunity to test so may “Types” of Yidden at one time,” they said about the annual gathering which brings together many rabbis, chassidim and bochurim from around the world.
“We hope and pray that we find a Match for him and hopefully many Yidden that are desperately waiting for a match,” they added noting that the test only consists of filling out a short form and taking a cheek swab.
The Drive is coordinated by Hatzalah of Crown Heights and Rabbi Avrohom Leider of the Ahavas Chessed medical advisory organization.
The boy’s name will be mentioned at the farbrengen for participants to daven for. The farbrengen is organized by Agudas Chabad International.
How can we help if we wont be at Bais Rivkah tonight?
