Do you want a l’chaim with that sandwich?
The new artisanal burger restaurant, Boeuf & Bun, was given the green light on their liquor license application, DNAinfo.com reports.
Brooklyn Community Board No. 8, which holds an advisory role in dealing with land use and zoning matters in North Crown Heights, voted positively on Thursday.
The board approved a beer and wine license for Boeuf & Bun, run by Australian-born Tzemach Woolstone, which will provide full waiter service serving gourmet and tantalizing burgers.
The space at 271 Kingston Avenue at Lincoln Place will accommodate up to 38 customers, the board said, and will be open every day at noon except Shabbos. It will be under the supervision of CHK – Crown Heights Beis Din.
The State Liquor Authority will make a final decision on the applications, DNAinfo reported.
A person involved in the opening of the restaurant told COLlive.com that it will be opening “in about three weeks.”
I’m thrilled to see more quality restaurants opening near my apartment. Hopefully we will soon have cafés and shops too. Congratulations and good luck with the opening!
Not for some more beef on buns.
Boruch Hashem there in enough food in Crown Heights.
Ad Mosai!!
Definitely by posting anonymously on a open online blog that will for sure prevent ill will and unwanted behavior, right on, keep up the brilliant work.
I don’t see this being useful to anyone but the chill crowd who just want to sit and socialize. its way too much
Don’t think it’s necessarily the liquor that will be a determining factor for attracting the “other crowds”. Let’sl think positive. We are a neighborhood like other Jewish places. Yes we can handle more than pizza shops! Wishing Tzemach lots of Mazel!
This will not be a bar, it will be a restaurant where one can order a beer or wine with their meal.
I hate to say it but our worst problem(s) is not hipsters but what’s going on (or not going on) from WITHIN. Yes, changing demographics in the shuchna offer their challenges (and benefits) but we have much greater challenges to deal with.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!
Oh it would have been by the mems or maybe even by the nuns that i was with tzemach for by the summer by parksville. Such a good bochur and to see the way he hit a baseball
Oy vey
such a good hitter i have never seen
They say the only thing better then his ball skills are his burger skills
How do we make sure it dsnt turn into a hipstee hangout but rather a nice place to dine, im nervous the liquor will atrract lots of other crowds
This will attract the most discerning burger eaters in the world.
People will flock to this destination.
Book ahead, way ahead……………….
