The investigation into the E. coli outbreak caused by tainted romaine lettuce suggests the produce likely came from California, federal officials said Wednesday.
Investigators are still determining the exact origin of the lettuce which has led to at least 32 cases of E. coli illness across 11 states.
CDC told consumers to throw away any romaine lettuce they may already have purchased. Restaurants should not serve it, stores should not sell it, and people should not buy it, no matter where or when the lettuce was grown. It doesn’t matter if it is chopped, whole head or part of a mix.
The Bodek company, which produces Kosher certified pre-checked and pre-washed vegetables, has released a statement that their romaine lettuce is safe to eat.
In a statement from Yitzchok Rosenbluth, Bodek’s Chief of Operations, the company says, “We have just received results from our laboratory, Bodek Romaine Lettuce and Bodek Romaine Lettuce products are totally safe to eat,” they wrote.

Bodek Romaine that sold in CH is a “Product of Canada”.
Ask Bodek USA for theirs.
Well now they can get sued if anyone does get sick from their lettuce
If a ceo is telling you its fine I would not trust it a 100% because he is nogayah bedovor I would say call the health department and find out if it’s true
I’m going to err on the side of safety.. just because random testing shows it’s ‘safe’ doesn’t mean that all is safe. This is where I take the advice of the CDC. Was sick from tainted produce once. That was more than enough.
