Bochurim Say Goodbye to YSP

Yeshiva Summer Program, located at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey recently completed its 35th summer.

With more than 200 Talmidim attending this years’ Summer Program, it was truly a successful summer, according to organizers.

The YSP program is an action packed seven week program, where the main focus is to prepare the Talmidim for their upcoming first year of Mesivta, while also giving them an enjoyable time, with sports, trips, in-house entertainment and more.

The success of the Learning Program was visible this year with the majority of the 13 learning classes learning and completing baal peh the entire Perek of Lulav V’aravah of Mesechta Sukka.

More than 100 Talmidim were able to do so, and were presented with a complete set of Shas as a reward for their efforts. In order to run such an immense program, YSP hired four experienced and dedicated Head Staff Members: Head Counselors Sruli Steiner and Ashi Farkash, and Learning Directors Asher Simpson and Mendel Landa.

The learning program was spearheaded by the Menahel Ruchni, Rabbi Asher Oster.

YSP is always known for its staff, and this summer was no different with the most chayusdik and devoted group of 35 staff members who put everything in to give the Talmidim a summer of a lifetime.

Under the directorship of Rabbi Moshe Herson, Dean of the Rabbinical College of America and Head Shliach to the state of New Jersey, Director Rabbi Mendel Goldberg, and assistant Director Rabbi Levi Harlig, the staff worked tirelessly for seven weeks to ensure the best time was had, both begashmius and beruchnius.

The feedback from parents, and Talmidim alike was only positive, and this year again, 200 Talmidim completed YSP with a very real preparation for their coming year. We wish the Talmidim success in their coming year in Mesivtah, and Brochos in all areas.
