Bochrim of OTEG (Oholei Torah Eighth Grade) went on a much anticipated trip to Central Park where they went boating as a reward for finishing the ‘Tishrei Challenge’ over the last month.
The Tishrei Challenge is an 18 part project, included coming to davening on time, participating in Tishrei Mivztoim, and special learning projects, all while keeping up with the “demands” of the busy month of Tishrei.
Those bochurim who participated in the Challenge and reached 14 of the 18 steps were treated to a special trip to Central Park which included sports, boating and a light picnic. And of course they found the opportunity to do mivtzoim with yidden they met on the trip.
The program was organized by Rabbi Yossi Bryski, and bochurim Y. D. Shmueli and R. Telsner.

they dont give life jackets to boys over the age of 11 in central park kol hakavod to M. Bryski (yesohyes inc.) for helping out and taking these pictures! your the bomb! awsome! amazing! keep up the great work!

I was thinking the same. How silly they they wear hats and jacket in such a trip. They are what 13 or 14 they can’t have some fun without the hats? Something wrong with this picture. And I see its not just me.
Glad they enjoyed and kudos to the hanholo for allowing it.
the trip, and i salute them, and the Yeshiva. having said that, would it be possible to get reshus to remove the jackets and hats for that hour (and perish the thought, and heaven forfend) put on basenball caps so their yarmulkas don’t fall into the water?! Of course, if their hats fall into the water, it probably is not much wetter than a tahalucha in the rain, and they can always get a new hat at Primo.
