The Yeshiva of New Haven has celebrated the joyous occasion of partaking in a Siyum Hashas by one of their own bochurim this week.
Hatomim Mendel Roth of Miami, a former talmid and current shliach in the yeshiva, has diligently learned Gemara for the past 8 years each day consecutively and has recently completed learning through the entire Shas.
The milestone was celebrated in the Yeshiva with great pomp and celebration.
The entire Yeshiva attended a festive seudah hosted by the Yeshiva, beautifully set up, and filled with inspiration.
At the event, Mendel shared in a relatable fashion his own journey from a typical young bochur entering yeshiva for the first time, and the turning points which have helped him grow, enabling him to reach this milestone.
Several illustrious speakers encouraged the bachurim to set their own goals and shared inspiration, motivation, and practical tips on how to achieve these goals and actualize their own dreams.
Following the siyum, everyone stood up spontaneously and danced the night away in admiration and with a renewed commitment to learning.

A great Kidush Lubavitch. A great effort was put forth. I remember when I brought my son to New Haven yeshiva seeing him learning Maseches Chulin on the plane. I was very impressed. Yeshar Koach may this be the first of many Siyumin! Mazal Tov,

so wonderfull to see the heartfelt dancing and celebration of Hashem torah, this is taking in a real way the teachings of tanya and chassidus regarding what torah embodies and what torah learning means.
We are so proud of you Mendel Hakoehen Roth. Beautiful! Your parents should continue having Nachas from you.
