Announcement from Bnos Menachem:
Bnos Menachem School wishes to express Hakoros Hatov to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, for sending us 1555 donors, who helped us raise $ 161,000.00 above our initial goal for a total of $661,003.00. This could not have been done without the generosity of many people, who contributed on many levels.
A tremendous Yasher Koach to the matchers, who committed their support before the fundraiser started and enabled us to set the campaign in motion.
Mr. Yossi Popack, who changed the course of the Matchathon, as we approached the finish line, and gave Bnos Menachem a new challenge, which materialized with great results.
The students, especially the 12th and 11th grade students, who injected the campaign with spirit, competition, and enthusiasm, generated the most active and successful teams.
To our devoted parents who went out of their comfort zones to ask for donations, we are thrilled to have had your help in this partnership to benefit our precious children, who are the ultimate recipients of the results from Matchathon.
Thank you to the callers and volunteers who stepped forward to offer their time and services to our cause. Every minute of your time brought us closer to our goal. Special mention to Rabbi and Mrs. Levi and Batsheva Browd for your ingenuity and strategic guidance throughout the entire campaign. We literally are amazed by your energy and devotion. We must note Rabbi Yuda Shaffer for sharing your creative talents.
We wish to highlight the work of Miss Chanale Morozow, of our Development Office, for the many hours she extended for the success of this Matchathon.
Thank you to the Crown Heights community, and the Chabad world at large and beyond , who were urged to dig into your wallets and did not disappoint. May you be blessed for your generosity.
To all the people who worked behind the scenes, through all hours of the night, for 36 hours, Bnos Menachem, the staff, students, and parents, salute you and appreciated you. Your work is not unnoticed.
We truly felt the Rebbe’s brochos as each segment of the program was successfully sent into motion.
Most sincerely,
Rabbi Motty Gurary, Rabbi Yosef Simpson, Rabbi Zalman Wilhelm, Rabbi Shmary Gurary and Mrs. Detty Leverton
