The snowbanks must have been taller than Reb Yisrolik in some places (and taller than plenty of other CH’ers as well)!

WHY????

its fun!
its a Brocha from Shamayim, enjoy it while is lasts!
be grateful that we are not in the situation that Eretz Yisroel is in, they would LOVE to have our snow and rain!
thank Hashem for the weather that you get and before you know it, it will be summer with boiling hot sun!

You probably never played outside or shoveled the snow – otherwise you would know what a sweat you build up and you don’t need a coat!! ( I shoveled for 10 minutes in just my sweater)

December 29, 2010 7:48 pm

ny has got to be the dumbest city….learn from chicago…..plow when the snow is COMING DOWN!!!

New Yorker
December 29, 2010 7:38 pm

in Montreal there are snow plows that plow the snow into large piles, Then trucks come to crunch the snow and pour them into trucks that dump the snow into the river, I am told.
Do you also have plows that clear the sidewalks?
In NY we only have plows- simply because it probably does not pay to invest in all that equipment for the one or two heavy snows we may possibly get each winter.
Without the proper equipment, Montrealers would be immobile too.
