A private initiative by a member of the Crown Heights Kollel is taking aim at young children to spark their interest in a very rare Mitzvah.
“Tzivos Hashem In Action” will be raffling off a set of Likutei Sichos books and an iPod filled with all the Rebbe’s Sichos and all JEM films.
Targeting children from grades 1 to 8, the campaign promotes broadening their knowledge about Birchas Hachama – the Blessing of the Sun to be recited on Erev Pesach.
On its website – www.birchashachama.biz – “The Mission” is to daven, give Tzedaka, attend their local communal ceremony and sing the Nuggunim as customary.
It also features text in English and Yiddish and an audio recording of the Rebbe’s Sicha in 1981 about the topic.
