Trying to enjoy the fairly nice weather on Tuesday, a simple bike ride turned into a violent incident for one Jewish boy in the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Two black males approached him at 6:30 PM and pushed him off the bicycle. They proceeded to drive off with it.
The police were immediately called and the 71 Precinct’s Detective Unit succeeded in catching up to the two perps on Rutland and New York Avenue.
Both males were placed under arrest and both were charged with robbery. But because of their young age they were released back to their parents – and to the streets.

Really? That seems to be the excuse for every black person that commits a crime against a Jew in Crown Heights (and the statistics are horrific). Have you taken a good look around you at many of the individuals and families in this community? This is not a wealthy community and there are people who are literally struggling to survive. They are not stealing cell phones. And they are certainly not randomly beating up people and damaging cars for no reason. We know what we are dealing with. This is nothing new. Maybe making public – to major newspapers or to government officials and senators – a log of all of these incidents over the past ten years and how the police handled or didn’t handle each one might bring in some outside assistance. Excellent point. During the dark days of the Dinkins administration in the 80’s black “activists” organized protests against Korean store owners in Brooklyn with heinous, racist chants of “Korean merchants, watch their eyes, bloodsuckers, they suck our blood, they rip us off…” The children of those Korean merchants are now professionals, doctors, lawyers etc. I’m sure many of the children and grandchildren of those racist black protestors are now either in jail or on the street committing crimes. With all due respect, if our neighbors in CH want us to have a better opinion of them, they can stop stealing bikes, tossing trash on the street, hollering all night, and painting their names on walls. It’s not that hard.
People used to treat the Irish as second-class criminals in the 1900’s; after a couple generations, the stereotype wore off since it just wasn’t true. However, for some reason, the stereotypes regarding the population around us in CH seem to stick around year after year…
they cant lock up the whole Brooklyn even though we all know that a lot of blacks are ganovim (it would cost too much money to keep them all in prison even though the government already fully supports them (foodstamps etc.))
so what we have to know that they will never change, and just lock your doors and watch your backs

You know when someone white commits a crime they won’t report it right away. But everybody else they will mention right away. Why is that? Last example Santa Monica shooting. And before that Newtown, Aurora etc. There is a pattern I notice when someone white commits a crime.
Maybe it’s worh mentioning because members of the Jewish community are victimized by young blacks ON A DAILY BASIS, including hate crimes against our children. If a white supremist commits a hate crime against a black person would it be worth mentioning that the perp was a white supremist or would that too be an expression of racism? Give me a break. The fact that he is black like choclate is irrelevant even whites steal . I remember in the 1920s that one time a white was convicted of stealing someone leafy taffy

Today we will learn that it’s okay to steal bikes.
Go ahead and steal a bike. If you don’t get caught, great! you now have a new bike. If you do get caught ,you’ll have a short pep talk with the officer and then you get a chance to try it again tomorrow.

Why is the color of thr youths’ skin mentioned at all? In my opinion this furthers divisiveness and stereotyping. Also, how old we’re the youths? Do their parents condone or condemn the boys’ behavior? There seem to be some important unanswered questions here.

Our criminal justice system here in America is self-serving. It copies our behavior in Crown Heights, were there is a lack of concern for the next one.
That’s why the penalties (For non-juveniles) is so lenient. Crime makes money.
