Beware: Anti Israel Protest at Brooklyn Museum on Monday

Message from Jewish Future Alliance:

We have been made aware that “Within Our Lifetime,” an antisemitic group, has called for a demonstration and day of rage across New York City tomorrow, Monday, in protest of the heroic rescue by the IDF of the hostages. They list the Brooklyn Museum as a target location.

In the past, the NYPD has been able to control the situation at the museum. Unfortunately, the last time this group was there, they not only took over the area but also verbally harassed several members of Anash, with one member being physically assaulted.

We have reached out to the NYPD to ensure a safe pathway for people walking on the parkway and expect them to protect everyone passing through or going to the area.

Our recommendation for adults is not to change your route or schedule if you were planning to go to that area, but we advise not going there specifically to engage. We recommend children avoid the area to avoid being exposed to hateful rhetoric.
