@BennysMusic: When I sing this song I think of Shalom Rubashkin, and I pray that the Hastara will end soon, and he can enjoy the good kind of good again.

I think that makes this song even more beautiful and heartbreaking. May we hear good news Bekarov!

A request: This song touches the neshoma of every Yid, as you said when you sing this song you remember Shalom Rubashkin, lets dedicate this song during the month Elul for him and we should all Daven to Hashem that IY”H he should be a free man this year.

    The "Rebbe" in this song...

In this song the “Rebbe” – refers to R’ Nachmon of Breslov. It’s interesting that our Rebbe says practically the same words on this very Pasuk (in Lekutei Sichos Chelek Tes) !!!

    Song Lyrics

[Transliterated in the Polish Chassidic pronunciation of the song]
Der Aibishter zugt inz kinderlech, unoichi hastir astir es punai bayoim hahi, uber der Rebbe [Reb Nachmen) zugt:
ve’afileh bihastureh shebisoich hahastureh bivadai gam shum nimtzuh Hashem Yisburach.
Gam mai’achoirai hadivurim hakushim ho’oivrim uleichu, Ani oimad.

[Translated in authentic Holy Tongue syntax]
The ‘One Most High’ tells us children “I conceal My face on that day’, but the Rebbe (Reb Nachman) says:
And even in concealment which is within the concealment, certainly also there is found Hashem may He be Blessed; also from behind the things, the harsh ones, which pass over you, I stand.

hashem said “i will hide my face on that day” but the rebbe (of breslov) said “even in the darkest of dark places hashem is certainly still present. ‘Even behind the most difficult things which stand against you, I stand there.'”
