I have been enjoying the stillness of quarantine and the comfort of family. This solitude has given me the opportunity to reevaluate my life and see what is important. The simple but soulful simchas, long shabboses with just the immediate family, not worried about keeping up with the joneses as far as shul outfits and tablescaping, I actually feel more connected to Hashem now than before. I am scared to go back to my old routine of running around from appointments to events to volunteering to meals, I’ve enjoyed the peacefulness of just being together with my family.
