Can’t wait to buy them for my son. These sound amazing. I love that they are UV protection. The compression fit will get rid of the “shlumpy look”.

Let Me tell u about Tamir:

I met him in camp i was a staff member and he came to speak to the campers and gave them a hands on basketball program he also told us about the tzitzis hes making. The stories that he told over where so incredible and inspiring! This guy really went on Mesiras Nefesh to become a basketball star. From wearing his Yarmulka and Tzitzis to walking 2 hours on shabbos to practice after having fasted on fri. (that year Asarah Beteves was on fri.) after playing on thur. one of the most intense collage games hes ever played always being… Read more »

According to Shulchan Aruch Harav, one should not say a brocho on them. theres another problem that he strings arn’t the same color as the corner. It’s better than not wearing tzitzis but cant replace the mitzvah according to all opinions of wearing wool tzitzis.

To #9 Please consider: 1 – These Tzitzis were created for the thousands of neshamas that don’t where tzitzis when they play sports. 2 – There are sparks of holiness in hi performance materials that needed to be uplifted by using them for a mitzva. IE tzitzis 3 – Fact: kids that struggle with wearing tzitzis love Sports Strings and don’t want to take them off. It makes the mitzva fun for them 4 – We say every day “vasoo lhahem” make for them: make them tzitzis that speak to them! Kids today love compression fit sports shirts! These tzitzis… Read more »

all #9 said was a direct quote from the alter rebbe’s shulchan Aruch. I am guessing they are the same Din as Cotton? If one would wear cotton is this sunthetic the same thing?

    synthetic vs cotton

    synthetic vs cotton

Yes, there is a difference between synthetic and cotton. See rav Moshe’s sefer for more information about this topic. Major halachic authoroties have seen Sport Strings and approved them because they meet all of the halachic rules and have 51% cotton on the outer layer.

You are asking #9 to consider 4 points.since you posted it on a public forum and there may be readers that will, after considering your points, agree with your conclusion, and will therefore, as you seem to imply, disregard #9, I must point out a that that there are a lot of flaws in your points when applying them to h #9’comment (namely a quote from the Shulchan Aruch Horav) your point 1) is a valid point,IF you can not make them do what the right thing to do is Point 2) THE CONCEPT IS A TRUE CONCEPT, BUT Not… Read more »

    Amazing!

Tamir Goodman’s sport strings sound amazing! I can’t wait to get a pair in Israel. I know tons and tons of young Jews who are not wearing Tzitzit now-a-days, and will without a doubt love these! Such an amazing idea! It should have much Haztlacha!
