Shneur Zalman ben Chamotel has been a name that many bochurim and chassidim have been having in mind while reciting Tehillim.
A student of the Chabad Yeshiva in Lod, Shneur Zalman Zohar has been hospitalized in critical condition after being infected by coronavirus.
He has been treated at the Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa while his family traveled back and forth between their home in Tzfas.
On Thursday, Zohar was given a hug by Dr. Yosef Chaim Ben Ari before being discharged from the hospital after a remarkable recovery.
“The doctors invested great efforts,” a family member said. “But the turnaround was completely miraculous and unexplained, as well as the recovery rate – thats what the doctors themselves explained.”
The relative added that the “mobilization of prayers was tremendous.”
“The value of mutual care was fully demonstrated here – not just by Lubavitchers, but by Jewish people of all kinds.”
Upon arriving home, Zohar was greeted by colorful balloons, friends and Rabbi Mordechai Bistritzky, Rabbi of the Chabad community in Tzfas.
They wished him well and blessed him to continue making great strides in his learning once yeshiva resumes.
Happy to hear the good news!
