Brian Cunningham, candidate in Tuesday’s special election to represent Crown Heights in the NY State Assembly, closed his campaign by stopping by 770 and Kingston Avenue on Monday night.
He met Crown Heights residents, including CHJCC Chairman Zaki Tamir, Chanina Sperlin, and Eli Cohen, and shoppers and storekeepers on Kingston Avenue. He shared his commitment to protect Yeshivah education, address safety with adjustments to Criminal Justice laws, and to promote additional housing for the community.
The Crown Heights PAC Crown Heights United has endorsed Brian Cunningham for assembly.

In a special election, everyone who is registered to vote, regardless of party affiliation, is eligible to vote for any candidate from any party. It does not matter if you are a registered Democrat, Republican or Independent. All are encouraged to vote.

He is not even claiming to be centrist,like eric adams did!
There is no other democrat in the race,So they feel like they must endorse him.
They are thinking,nobody even knows what they vote,so they will not lose credibility.

Fast forward a year, two years, 5 years, etc. Does anybody track all the PROMISES made by these ENDORSED candidates and then follow up? We see lots of smiling photo ops, lots of sit-down meals with plenty of food, cutsey video clips, etc. What promises are being fed to the community and are the promises being kept? Otherwise it looks awful silly to keep doing the same thing over and over–endorsing promise-makers who are not helping our community. They do not have a set up for those living in area 65 of our district at the empire blvd location. They told us to vote by affidavit and it will be counted later.
Do not agree. Fight until they let you vote right then and there.
