Many will recognize Estee Klein’s handiwork; her murals adore walls across the nation and the classes she offers are a breath of fresh air for budding artists of all ages.
Back for her second year, Estee took time from her busy schedule to train the “Teens N Twenties” division of the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn as they prepare for this year’s Art of Friendship Gala and Gallery.
The girl’s creativity and self-expression took all by surprise. “Every time I come back, I am amazed once again by the talent and capabilities of the group,” said Ms. Klein.
In the first class, the young ladies painted gorgeous flowers arranged beautifully in a vase. This class was about vibrancy and color, breaking away from a frigid winter, giving way to spring when gardens bloom.
At the second session, each girl drew luscious pears on a varied backdrop.
The masterpieces created are part of the larger collection of artwork to be displayed in a gallery honoring the talents and creative edge of children with special needs in our community.
People of all ages and abilities want recognition and the opportunity to be in the spotlight, the art show does just that for this most precious group of individuals.
On behalf of the Friendship Circle, the girls and volunteers, we would like to thank Estee Klein for lending her time and expertise to this program.
The Friendship Circle will be selling these pieces at ‘The Art of Friendship’ event on May 10th. For more information or sponsorship opportunities, please contact [email protected] or visit www.FCBrooklyn.com/ART
