I’m voting this time
June 16, 2020 10:35 am

I decided to vote this time. We can’t just complain about our leaders without lifting a finger to change the situation.

Trying to figure it out

I’m trying to get an absentee ballot but it’s saying I’m not in the system. The community needs more people telling us exactly what to do …

Jesse Hamilton literature and website has “Black Lives Matter” all over it
I have no issue with the peaceful protest, anti police brutality, etc etc
But the BLM movement is a radical, anarchist, and anti Semitic movement
Please explain how one should vote and support this

generic terminology

Black Lives Matter is a generic statement. The fact that there are antisemitic organizations that use it does not mean that Black Lives Do Not Matter or that it is not worthwhile to assert that Black Lives Matter.

Would you suddenly become anti-Israel if an organization called “Israel Has a Right to Exist” espoused abhorrent things and then you would tell other people not to say Israel Has a Right to Exist?

Less radical

You are so smart that you now have Myrie as your state senator who could give a da– about Jews. Good luck

BLM ok , that yarmulkah has to go!
June 16, 2020 3:26 pm

No problem with BLM, he’s got to be electable , but get that stupid yarmulkah off his head , so that our good black gentile friends will vote for him and not see him as an appeaser. We want Jesse for his values for all not just for Jewish community. Good luck Jesse

If you dont you will never have a say asthe main vote takes place in the Primaries

What is a "special primary election"?
June 17, 2020 2:08 am

This is just an ordinary primary like we have every two years.

Hamilton

Dont judge him by what he says about blm. Obviously he needs votes way and beyond the jewish community, and has to do what it takes to get them. His opponent is very bad and needs to be defeated. She is soft on crime, and is promoting all types of changes in albany that weaken the criminal justice system.
Jesse has also shown that he is a true friend of the community and stood together with us whenever he was needed.
