The Chitas App, created and developed by the Saber Team of Great Neck, has just rolled out their latest version this week.
There are many new features in the latest update, but the highlight is a new tracking system for missed lessons. The user can add missed days to the schedule and mark them off as they complete them. There are even easy-to-use links that help the user navigate directly to the missed lesson.
What is the Chitas Guide App? The Chitas App is designed to act as a comprehensive hub for all things related to Chitas and Rambam. The app provides links to all the text lessons, audio lessons, and video lessons. There is also a daily multiple choice quiz for Chumash (and Rashi) with a scoring system.
In addition to the missed-lessons tracking, there are also a few other notable features in this new update:
– The Chitas Guide partnered with Chitas for Kids. Their daily classes are now available directly from the app.
– An option to speed up and slow down the quiz (Easy, Medium, and Hard)
– A link for Hayom Yom
– A link for Sefer Hamitzvos
– Random functionality updates and bug fixes
Most of the above changes were implemented based on suggestions from the growing Chitas App fan-base. If you have any ideas, please don’t hesitate to contact the Saber Team.
There is going to be another update, projected to launch during the Purim Season with the following updates:
– Tanya Questions
– An Interactive Forum for discussing the daily Chitas
– Ask a Question to a Rabbi
This app was sponsored in loving memory of Shaina Bracha Bas Shmuel.
