Students arriving at the Rabbinical College of America, in Morristown, from 14 countries and 26 states of the USA, were pleased to be greeted by a contingency of important New Jersey State Officials, led by Attorney General Gurbir Grewal.
Speaking to the faculty and students, the attorney general proudly stated a Torah verse in its original Hebrew “Tzedek, Tzedek, Tirdof,” (Justice, justice you shall pursue), and went on to explain – quoting our Sages – that the Torah repeats the word ‘justice’ twice, to teach that Justice needs to be pursued in a just manner.
The AG said that he sees this Torah verse as a guiding mandate in both his personal and professional life.
Rabbi Moshe Herson, Dean of the RCA, expressed his appreciation for the “superb relationship Chabad New Jersey Headquarters enjoys with New Jersey State Officials. This has been of great benefit to the enormous growth and development of the 59 Chabad Centers in all 21 New Jersey Counties.”
