The Canadian Forces, Land Forces Central Area Headquarters in Toronto, became the proud owner of its very first Chanukah Menorah.
Captain Rabbi Lazer Danzinger, a Lubavitcher, is credited with this achievement.
Danzinger met a Jewish Commissionaire, who was very excited to see the very first menorah ever placed in the entrance there.
The Menorah was generously donated by Rabbi Mendel Kaplan, of Chabad @ Flamingo in Thornhill, ON, Canada.
