Rabbi Yehoshua Raskin spend this past week in a fundraising tour in Brazil for CJCC – Cyprus Jewish Community Centre in Larnaca, directed by his son the Shliach Rabbi Zeev Raskin.
But he also used the occasion to lead chassidic farbrengen in the cities he visited.
Raskin was welcomed in the Beit Chabad in Brasilia where dozens of men sat with him and the local Shliach Rabbi Yosef Simonowitz.
Other farbrengens took place in Rio De Janeiro, the Yeshiva College Machne Israel in the city of Petropolis and a group of Chabad girls in S. Paulo.
