The popular group 8th Day have teamed up with Yad L’shliach to present a one-of -a-kind song release titled ”Ker A Velt’.’
Composed and written by 8th Day, the song has an amazing and powerful message. It combines different genres and styles to create a very unique and enjoyable song.
”We’ve never done anything like it,” said Shmuel Marcus of 8th Day. ”With song and music in general, you have to go with inspiration of the moment – and that’s what we did with ‘Ker A Velt’.”
The single is being sold exclusively at www.keravelt.org with all proceeds going to the Yad L’Shliach organizaton.
”The idea is to spread awareness of the great work that shluchim do all over the world,” says Rabbi Shlomo Friedman, director of Yad L’shliach.
Established by the Friedman family in memory of their father, the legendary baal chesed Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Friedman obm, Yad L’Shliach is literally “extending a hand” to assist shluchim. Yad L’Shliach dispenses $1,000 grants to shluchim, to be used strictly for personal needs.
Yad L’Shliach, a grass roots organization, is supported by funds generated by the shluchim and shluchos themselves and members of anash.

Then i remembered that this band gets a full body rash just thinking about anything cliche or hackneyed. They arent outside the box. The “box” is a 14 hour flight, 3 taxi’s, a boat ride and 9 hours on horse back from them. I’d love to stay neutral and objective but I cant.… Read more »
