This weekend, the 16th annual CTeen Shabbaton will be taking place, with over 3,000 teens expected to visit Crown Heights for the inspiring weekend. Due to the large crowds, there are a few advisories CTeen Headquarters at Merkos 302 would like to notify the local community about.
For those Davening at 770 on Friday night, please be aware that the entire Shul will be reserved for the teens, including the entire downstairs of 770 and the Kingston Ave women’s section.
The upstairs floor of 770, including the small zal and the Rebbe’s room, will also be closed from 4:15 PM until 6:00 PM.
On Sunday, thousands of teens will be visiting the Ohel from 8:45 AM to 11:00 AM and again from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you plan on visiting the Ohel during these times, please expect larger than usual lines. We encourage you to plan accordingly and perhaps adjust your schedule if possible.
Furthermore, due to the large number of buses transporting the teens on Sunday, there may be some traffic congestion. Please be aware that on Sunday morning, buses will be leaving at 8:15 AM and 9:45 AM from President, Carroll, and Montgomery streets between Brooklyn and Troy Avenues.
CTeen HQ appreciates the critical support and participation of the Crown Heights community in making this special Shabbos a reality every year. We apologize for any inconvenience that may occur due to the large crowds and appreciate your understanding.
I understand the beauty and need, but just wondering what the plan is for all the regular Friday night 770 goers?
Follow that and give them a. Easy time
Tunnels
Use your imagination.
You’ll need to have a little Mesiras Nefesh for another Yid & readjust your schedule/davening location.
p.s. Maybe it’s time to expand 770? Could you imagine if under the Kingston Ave Women’s section was dug out, there would have been space for everyone! CTeens & balabatim!
It was like being in camp. No one stopped me from entering, but the davening is reserved for their huge minyan.
Don’t worry, you’ll survive one shabbos.
No one is stopping them from entering and davaning there.
They will go to other shuls or daven later. It’s their opportunity to do shlichus and alter they schedule slightly
There are many other beautiful shuls to choose from
There’s an halachik inyan to daaven in a mokom kavua so I’m sure C-Teen plans according to halacha. If you daaven there every Friday night in the same place I’m sure your spot will be held for you.
Are you telling me that the Bochurim of Kvutze won’t be allowed to daven in the Rebbe’s minyan?
It’s needed for visitors. Nothing to daven before this time or in the different shul
Thanks for the humor much appreciated
Beautiful!
Much Hatzlacha!
If you’d like to access 770 you can go through the tunnel. Thank me later
Is that open?
Will the hallway and basement be open for minyanim? I daven maariv in the hallway every week.
I’m sure the shvil will be there too
Since when did 770 become a venue a third party can book?
On that note… I do have a corporate gala dinner I will be holding soon, guess I have another option I can keep in mind.
A third party?? The rebbes kinder coming to 770 for the first times in their life!

You must be one of those….
Shame on you. Every Yid belongs in 770.
Every Yid belongs in 770…except the regulars. We are told “No Trespassing”, “Shul Closed”
when the Rebbe made programs for Tzivos Hashem, Nshei Chabad, and Tiferes Zkainim access to the regular crowd was limited or non existant. This is a continuation of the Rebbe’s policies.
Much hatzlocha!
B”h the regular Friday night minyan with R’ Chaim Pil under the Ezra’s noshim will take place right after the main minyan ends
