I read they were not vaccinated in the Jerusalem post. There have been no cases in the us that were started here since ’79, let’s keep it that way!

It’s right there in the article that the child wasn’t vaccinated.

Yes!

It’s curious that there wasn’t any cases in 30 years
With polio being a standard vaccine given
With time less and less ppl vaccinate making the herd immunity less which eventually allows for the virus to mutate .
These viruses never went away but we have warded them off. Simple science .

The old polio vaccine wouldn’t have worked anyway. This is a ‘new strain’.

The patient seems to have been infected with a strain that has undergone a change and could cause disease in those who are not vaccinated.

Oh. So….. The vaccine wouldn’t have prevented his infection.

I recommend re-reading your own comment slowly, and maybe even out loud. Then come back and tell us what you think the article–and your comment–means.

Unlike with covid, the polio vaccine is actually effective in preventing all strains of the disease. This vaccine is highly effective. It pretty much guarantees that the child will not get it.

Read what you just wrote: “could cause disease in those who are NOT vaccinated.”

Did you read your comment before posting?

Let me quote you. The strain “could cause disease in those who are *not* vaccinated.” The article doesn’t mention the new strain’s impact on those who are vaccinated.

(Yes yes, I know. Even the original strain can cause disease in the unvaccinated — duh — so why mention the new strain to begin with? I can’t answer that, because I can’t read the mind of the author, but what I could tell you is that the article does not suggest that the new strain in vaccine resistant.)

Read the paragraph you quoted!

It says “can cause disease in those who are NOT vaccinated”.

Oh. So….. the vaccine would have prevented his infection!

Oh, and please don’t expect others to read what you didn’t read yourself

“Could cause disease in those who are not vaccinated” = those who are vaccinated would not get the disease = the vaccine would have prevented this infection. Get vaccinated people. This is POLIO. Don’t paralyze your kid.

Which part of “in those who are NOT vaccinated” did you not understand?

No cure
March 7, 2022 7:38 am

Remember that polio is a debilitating and deadly disease for which there is no cure. Prevention is the only thing that can help.

Who really knows if there’s no cure?
Anything is possible after the suppression of hydroxychloriquine/ ivermectin together with zinc happened with covid. Heck maybe these combination drugs work for polio too. polio is viral. Who knows?

Unfortunately covid vax corruption has caused people to throw out the baby with the bath water, another issue with regular vaccines is once people start looking into them they realize that some of the mandatory ones are unnecessary (HPV) and lose faith in all of them.

Well, almost

It is true that being against Pfizer doesn’t necessitate being against all vaccines. However, there is huge convergence among the two groups. Gotta wonder why…

Vitamin C prevents post polio paralysis
March 7, 2022 10:19 am

Dr. Robert Klenner administered high doses of vitamin c to his polio patients in the 1940s and ALL RECOVERED COMPLETELY. He presented his findings to his medical colleagues at a convention and was ignored by the establishment. Today, polio vaccines needlessly cause much more paralysis worldwide than the virus does – you can research this yourself. But sadly, inexpensive therapeutics are still not being utilized and only the risky vaccines administered. Anyone wanna take a guess why?

Some more details

In the western world, the polio vaccine now administered includes dead strains, and therefore carries no risk of causing polio. Unfortunately, in developing countries, the live version is still administered, which does carry the risk of causing polio.

Invalid Assumption by Anti-Vaxxers
March 7, 2022 1:32 pm

Simply because it is a new strain does not lead one to conclude that the current vaccine would not have been as effective, mostly effective or not effective at all without further research. For example, vaccines against Covid 19 were highly effective against the subsequent Delta strain variant and were less effective but still effective against Omicron variant.

Unfortunately unlike usa, israel uses live polio vaccine which can mutate and cause disease in someone unvaccinated who was near them. Thats how the child caught it. Answer is israel should use killed polio vaccine like usa does to avoid this. Some children cant be vaccinated

I grew up with a rare example of what polio is. My mothers cousin lived nearby and contracted polio as a baby. He was born right after the invention of the incubator and right before the polio vaccine was discovered. He survived BH as a baby but lived with progressive paralysis. He was a truly special yid A”H and had the most positive attitude despite (when I knew him in his 30s) being able to move only his mouth (to speak), his eyes, his nose, and one finger. He lived, at times, from his bed and sometimes was able to… Read more »
