Tzeirei Hashluchim in Europe returned to their Shlichus locations with a new chayus and energy after an inspiring 3 week boys’ camp in Sweden.
Close to 30 cities were represented in camp with dedicated staff members providing the boys with a great learning schedule, activities, trips and a renewed chayus in their hiskashrus with the Rebbe and their Shlichus.
Trips included canoeing, Liseberg Amusement Park, boat trip with barbecue and swimming on the beautiful islands in the Gothenburg archipelago, bowling, water park, and more.
“It was amazing to be in an atmosphere with kids of Shluchim from across Europe. Inspiring to see how Shluchim in veite shteltlach can raise such a chassidishe generation. This is a living example of how the Rebbe is with us wherever we are,” says Levi Shemtov, a staff member.
Parents reported that their children are davening with an unprecedented energy and simcha since returning from camp.
“My son has gone to camp for 4 years,” says a parent. “His growth in chassidishkeit each year has been noticable. Best of all, the Namdars treat everyone as their own child.”
“I was really impressed with all the kids of the Shluchim- how they really live with the Rebbe in every detail, and how the camp has such a chassidishe atmosphere, ” said Shmuel Shimonovitz who helped with administrating the camp this year.
Gan Yisroel Tzeirei Hashluchim Sweden is a project of Chabad Sweden, joined by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky and MyShliach of Merkos Suite 302.
“The Tzeirei Hashluchim devote themselves all year to their Shlichus,” says Rabbi Alexander Namdar, Head Shliach of Sweden and Director of the camp.
“In camp, they are able to recharge their batteries, by spending time with staff who are true chassidishe role models, making new friends, learning, davening, farbrenging and having a great time. The result is that they are empowered in their Shlichus and their connection to the Rebbe when they return home,”
