As the 12th Annual CTeen International Shabbaton begins, hundreds of CTeen Chapters are making their way to Crown Heights and photographed their travels to be shared with friends.
2700 Teens from 497 cities and 24 countries arrived throughout the day Thursday, marking the beginning of the largest crowd CTeen has ever hosted. The streets of Crown Heights are already alive with the sound of teens singing and cheering.
Over the next 4 days the teens will participate in a plethora of educational, inspirational, and exciting programs, empowering the youth as leaders of today and tomorrow.
The Shabbaton kicked off Thursday night with registration and dinner at Oholei Torah; Friday, many of the teens Davened Shachris in 770. Later, they will venture to Manhattan for a day of exploring and inspiration.
“CTeen staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly for months to prepare for this momentous Shabbaton,” shared Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of CTeen.
One thing’s for sure: CTeen is ready to take over Crown Heights.
