Hundreds of Chabad children and children of Shluchim took part in a project in honor of Levi Yitzchak Wolowik OBM, son of the Shluchim to the Five Towns in New York.
A precious Tzivos Hashem soldier, Levi is discribed as the epitome of Ahavas Yisroel, and a true soldier.
To honor his memory, a Sefer Torah is being written exclusively by Children in the Army of Hashem from all over the world through a global Learn-A-Thon.
They are learning Tanya by heart and getting friends and family to sponsor them for every line they learn.
Already 2500 lines of Tanya and $8000 were pledged.
When they are finished their learning, they collect the money from their sponsors, and it goes to pay for the Sefer Torah.
For every $9 raised for Levi’s Torah, that child is entered into a raffle. Those getting $90 from sponsors will also get a special gift.
