Over 2,897 chayolim took part in the first test, The tests are not easy, yet the numbers keep growing. “It’s incredible to watch the outstanding dedication and commitment of so many chayolim all around the world” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice-chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch.
This week the 2,193 chayolim who remained in the contest, took the second test. Their marks clearly show how dedicated these chayolim are. They spend their free time studying and reviewing all the intricate details on various mitzvos.
“The Rebbe is surely sheping much nachas. Who would have imagined that the Chidon would ever grow this big?” remarks Rabbi Yerachmiel Benyominson, executive director of Tzivos Hashem.
Now the pressure is on. Test three is the final pre-test and it’s fast approaching on Monday, Chof Shvat (Feb 5). It’s the collective marks of all three tests that will determine which students will be eligible to join the International Chidon Shabbaton and represent their base, which they all are hoping for.
The 2nd test was dedicated in the zechus of the complete refuah shelaima of Menucha bas Malka. May this limmud bring us one step closer to the coming of Moshiach, the time when we will be able to keep all 613 mitzvos!
