Camp chayolei staff have arrived for 2 days of professional staff training and are gearing up for a smashing, chasidishe summer this year.
One of the first time staff members has told COLlive of how excited he was for this upcoming summer, and about all the new upgrades that camp has done specially for this summer.
Due to the current circumstances, after the many challenges children have experienced in the past few months, the camp administration felt the need to increase in the staff training for this upcoming summer, they told COLlive.
The training sessions this year included lectures by professional Mechanchim Rabbi Shmuel Turk, assistant Principal of Lubavitch yeshiva, as well as the camp mashpiim Rabbi Hillel Laufer and Rabbi Foly Dubov.
There was also a special course given this summer by the camp EMT under the auspices of the camp physician Dr. B. Kurtzer specifically regarding COVID-19 guidelines, and to ensure that all health and safety measures are in place for the upcoming summer.
The staff finished off their packed schedule with an outstanding shiur in Inyunei Geulah UMoshiach from rabbi Shmuel Turk.
So happy to see. Looking forward to a wonderful summer.
I hope there was a also a Kids Safety component to the training. The more we talk about problems of abuse the more protected our children are.
Many thanks!
