14 Foot Balloon Menorah

On Sunday, Jewish families from all over the Bay area in California gathered together at Palo Alto City Hall plaza for the lighting of a 14 foot high balloon Menorah lit by Shliach Rabbi Yosef Levin. Photos

I made the menorah… the balloons are filled with air. Additionally, the heat from the tiki torches rises, so there was no risk to the balloons. Worse case is that the balloons would melt and pop, but not catch on fire. They also had 75 lb. bases to keep them from tipping.
