Yeshivos from around the world are gearing up for an exciting parade as the date for the annual Mitzvah Tank Parade has been announced. This year, the parade will take place on Thursday, March 30th, Ches Nissan. As Yud Alef Nissan, falls on a Sunday this year, the Mitzvah Tank Office has decided to hold the parade a few days prior in honor of Hakhel.
Organizers say that Sunday would have limited exposure to the Mitzvah Tanks and therefore special arrangements are being made for the parade to be held the Thursday earlier.
A 48-hour Raisethon campaign is set to take place this Wednesday and Thursday, aiming to generate support and funding for the parade.
