Over 100 children of Anash and Shluchim living in the Greater Boston area gathered this past Motzoei Shabbos to celebrate Yud Shevat, the day the Rebbe assumed leadership of Chabad.
The special Melave Malka meal was hosted by Chabad of Natick, Directed by Rabbi Levi and Chanie Fogelman.
Participants were divided Into groups and learned about Yud Shevat and were given special activities and different crafts.
The meal included the singing of spirited chassidishe niggunim and special desserts. A rally and the saying of the 12 pesukim were led by Dovid Bush and a chassidishe story was told by Rabbi Tzvi Backman.
The children watched a video of the Rebbe and took upon themselves to increase their learning and behavior to give the Rebbe nachas.
