On Motzoei Shabbos Vayishlach, a crowd of approximately fifty people, men and women, participated in a Yud Tes Kislev farbrengen at the Mayanot Minyan in Crown Heights.
The minyan, located at 388 Kingston Avenue, is directed by founder Rabbi Avrohom Silver, and consists of alumni who have studied at the Mayanot Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
Guest speaker Rabbi Michoel Seligson farbrenged for four hours, into the early morning hours. He spoke about the various lessons we derive from the Alter Rebbe’s imprisonment and redemption.
During the siyum on the Hayom Yom which is traditionally concluded on the 18th of Kislev, Rabbi Seligson also shared with the assembled his in-depth research on the Hayom Yom over three decades and the Rebbe’s responses he merited to receive.
The crowd left inspired and energized to begin a new Chassidishe year with a new zest and fervor.
That farbrengin was amazing. When I grow up I wanna be Rabbi Seligson! Shkoyach Reb Silver
RABBI SILVER SET ME UP WITH ONE OF THEM!!
You should go from strength to strength for all the great work you’re doing.
