Over 200 Chassidim attended a Farbrengen in the shul of the Bishtane Rebbe in Israel in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.
Held every year, it marks the liberation of the Alter Rebbe from Czarist imprisonment and the disseminating of Chassidic teachings.
The Bishtane Rebbe traditionally quotes from the Tanya and other Chabad works and hands out L’Chaims from Benedictine Liqueur.
This year’s event was also addressed by Rabbi Shmuel Heber of Crown Heights, a businessman and talmid chacham.
Daled Bavos, the Chassidic niggun related to the Alter Rebbe, was sung with much delight and concentration.
Bussines man? Talmid Chacham?

Rabbi Heber you have taught me so much in my Morristown days as a bachur. You have guided me and instilled such strong Yiddish and Chassidish values that I now give over to my children. if there are two words I can say is THANK YOU for changing my life and now affecting the life of my children.
I wish Crown Heights can use you out more often for shiurim and farbrengens, you have so much to share.
Rabbi Shmuel Heber is such a learned talmid chocham with so much knowledge and talent!! He left an impression on hudreds of students in Morristown Yeshiva. Those that had him in those good old days knows what I am talking about.
You need to use him out more for events like this, he can offer so much and really impress the crowed with his vast Torah Knowledge!!
Proud to call you one of My Rosh HaYeshivahs
