On Sunday night the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad Headquarters in NSW, Australia had a grand Farbrengen in honor of 19 Kislev – Rosh Hashanah of Chasidism.
The Farbrengen was also the official welcome for the new Talmidim HaShluchim – Rabbinical Students who have come to study this year in Sydney.
The farbrengen was opened with words of blessing and inspiration by the Rebbe’s Head Shliach to NSW, Australia Rabbi Pinchus Feldman.
Afterwards three Rabbinical students were invited to speak, Hatimimim Hashluchim Moishe Maimon of Wisconson, Mendy Bryski of Brooklyn, NY, and Yossi David of Sydney, Australia, who after learning abroad has now returned as a Shliach! They all spoke about the great privilege and responsibility of being an emmisary student of the Rebbe.
The Special Guest Speaker was Rabbi Yisroel Sufrin, a graduate of the Yeshiva Rabbinical College of Sydney, presently the Rebbe’s Shaliach and Rabbi of Elsternwick Jewish Community, Melbourne, Victoria who told many stories and inspiring words regarding the Rebbe’s Mitzva campain for “Ahavas Yisroel” – Love of one’s fellow Jew.
