I cant speak for Rabbi Jacobson, but could it be he likes a knitted yamulkah, for whatever reason, and thats why he wears it. We have those things which we do, for some its being judgmental for others its being haughty and for others its wearing a knitted yamulkah. You decide whats more of an issue to address.
Correction: The Rebbe’s brother’s name is Dovber, not Sholom Dovber
Glad to see you address the yarmulka – sometimes the reason to do something is just because that is what chassidim do (as the rebbe replied to someone when they asked what to do about trimming a moustache). For years i have not listened to your classes, as much as i wanted to, because i was not willing to learn chassidus from someone who would in my opinion not dress 100% like a chossid (doesnt take away from ur great intellect of course but torah and chassidus is emes, and there is no place for oneself, and living, dressing and… Read more »
