Rabbi Yaakov Shpitzer was director of the Sanz-Klausenberg institutions in Israel before becoming the chief Gabbai of the Imrei Shefer community in Jerusalem.
In the early 1980s, his niece was suffering from a particularly aggressive cancer that doctors said left her with slim chances for survival.
During an audience with the Rebbe, he raised her plight and left the meeting with specific instructions of what to do.
He told the story to JEM with detailed completed by the doctor himself. This video is featured in in this week’s Living Torah program.
Is wow bec I’m speechless! How fortunate were we who saw the Rebbe zl
Hope it gives hope to many more people to continue writing to the Rebbe for brochos in their lives.
This is so beautiful and painful at the same time.
JEM are stirring the emotions of those of us who were privileged to meet and see the Rebbe and collecting the visual legacy for the younger generations to benefit, be connected and uplifted through the amazing files they have.
Thank you JEM.
Well said!!
If we only realized then what we had. and, if we only realized how much stronger the Rebbe is today.
Incredible story!
