In the spirit of Chodesh Adar, the PTA of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva arranged a Simchas Adar Drum Circle with which the Talmidim ushered in the joyous month.
The Simcha in the hall was palpable as the 160-piece orchestra of Talmidim drummed to lively, Chassidishe Niggunim, led by percussionist Moshe Sobel.
With Achdus, the Talmidim worked in sync to produce the rhythms as directed. The event was amusing, uplifting, and left a smile on the Talmidim’s faces as the echos of the joyous Chassidishe Niggunim continues to ring through the month of Adar.
Boys were thrilled to play drums , thank you all who made it happen! Proud parents
BS”D it’s freaking Amazing how these teachers and principal have such Joy, Chais and smiles etc after so many years of teaching. Kole haKovod
This looks like so much fun! Thank you ULY!
Thank you for instilling such chayus in our childrens lives
As long as this is in the category of jugglers, clowns, and comedians, I don’t question this.
Otherwise, what’s Jewish about drum circles? (Many kinds of drum circles — though probably not this type — originate in pagan and shamanic practices.)
What a great outlet for the boys!!!
When I was a lonely kid with no relatives living in crown heights I went to RAbbi Katzen and Shwartz’s Mesibas Shabbos. They always made sure to be happy to see me and show me attention. They saved my life. I remember the long boring days with no friends. THEY ARE MALACHIM!!!
To the PTA-thank you for arranging this.
What a great idea!!
Thank you PTA
