Moshe Holtzberg, who lost his parents during the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, arrived at Nariman House in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Addressing the media, Rabbi Israel Kozlovsky, Director of Chabad Jewish center at Nariman House said, “Finally baby Moshe is back home, first time after the 26/11 terror attack. He has come to the place where he was saved by his nanny, who also came earlier today.”
Kozlovsky informed the press that Moshe is with his family and having lunch, after which they all will proceed to “tell him our future plan for the building and will show them the living memorial and all the details.”
He also requested media personnel to respect Moshe’s privacy as he is just a kid, and “this visit is very, very emotional for him.”
Moshe will be accompanying Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on January 18 for the inauguration of a memorial project dedicated to those killed in the 26/11 carnage.
Moshe was only two when terrorists killed his parents at Mumbai’s Jewish house. Then ‘Baby Moshe’ became a face of the innocent victims of ruthless terrorism.
His parents had moved to Mumbai seven years before the attack to work at the Chabad House. After the attack, Moshe’s maternal grandparents took him to Afula, a city in Israel for his safety and comfort.

What an opportunity to tell the world about Moshiach & Geuala.
Instead of saying that Moshe will return when he is older to be the Shliach there, all the reporters should be told about our belief in Moshiach and T’Cheas Ha’Maisim.
What do you think?
May Hashem send us moshiach now !!!
Too traumatic for such a young child.
Does moshe remember anything that happened?
same here and in tears reading what u wrote
very emotional
We have a grandson named after gabi HYD
this is very bittersweet. Moshiach now!
Viewing these images makes the past and present meet so vividly. I recall all the details of those years so clearly!
It’s now so good to see the Walking Miracle– Baby Moshe, who is no more baby, growing into a young mature Bochur. Then seeing Sandra who saved him,all this warms the heart by seeing these images.
So enough of this galus;let us merit Moshiach today!!
I can’t help but relive the tragic and heartbreaking memories of the Mumbai attack and it’s sad aftermath.
This is some type of closure and consolation to see Moishe doing well and thriving in Israel with his grandparents and houskeeper and savior. May hashem grant him long and healthy years and hatzlacha in all his endeavors.
Brings tears.
There is nothing in the world like the rebbes shluchim.
So emotional !
wow nice Moshe good job and keep on smiling
