Esty C, of Ashdod, has never been a happy baby. She was born eight months ago with a severe cleft lip. Her deformity makes eating and drinking a painful activity. Like many children unable to eat properly, she is nearly always crying. Her mother, Elisheva, has turned to doctors for help. The doctors have offered a solution that is nearly impossible.
Esty has been referred to a childrens’ hospital in Manhattan. There the eight-month-old child can receive life-changing facial reconstruction surgery. The procedure would allow her to eat and drink normally, and to achieve what her parents never thought possible: To look like a normal child.
This could mean a future in which Esty can attend school and grow older without alienation and bullying. No one need even know that she was born with a major defect. This is truly invaluable. The surgery is far beyond the parents’ budget.
Esty’s mother has started an emergency fund in hopes of ending her child’s suffering. Any mother can relate to her fears for her child’s future. However only a mother of a sick child can truly understand her pain.

Please contact the campaign manager directly if you have websites and links to help them which I would be astounded if they did not know about these organizations or about surgery being “FULLY COVERED”

They also have an active watsapp group. If someone has her info, please pass this on to her. There is no need for her to fly anywhere or for her baby to unneccesarily starve ( if the baby is getting a regular bottle or being nursed which these… Read more »

We are a company that would like to send a check directly to the hospital where the baby will be having the surgery. Please advise us how to do this. We do not want to go through GoFundMe, where they take a percentage of the donation. What is the name of the hospital? Who should we send a check to? Thank you. -Refuah shleimah
Can this organization help them get the surgery done is israel? Cleft palate and lip surgery is done in Israeli hospitals too. It would be easier if they could do it there.
There are many organizations and dr who offer either great reductions in.fees or.offer the entire surgery for.free.
