On the second night of Chanukah, Ambassador David Friedman and his wife Tammy joined Chabad to light the Menorah in front of a packed crowd. The event occurred at the increasingly popular Crave Gourmet Street Food.
Crave, who’s ownership is close with Chabad, aims to create community in addition to spectacular food.
In order to accomplish that, the restaurant’s ownership team approached Rabbi Levi Margolin asking him to be “Chabad @ Crave,” sharing the joy and celebration of Judaism with their community.
Each night of Chanukah, different personalities are joining Rabbi Margolin and Crave management to light the Menorah. In addition to Menorah lightings, the restaurant and Rabbi Margolin have hosted Megillah readings for more than 100 people, Farbrengens and posts a weekly Dvar Torah to their Facebook page.
Thank you, @USAmbIsrael, Mr. David Friedman, for lighting the Menorah with us at Crave (@gotcrave) last night! #HappyChanukah to you and your family! An honor to meet you. pic.twitter.com/Mf6HClqwid
