Each year, 1000 Young Shluchim gather in Crown Heights for the annual Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim. They enjoy trips, shows, Farbrengens, delicious food, prizes, fun activities, a grand banquet, and a chance to spend invaluable time with fellow Shluchim from around the world.
“Thank you for giving my son an amazing time at the Kinus!” wrote one parent. “Thinking about the sheer amount of kids that you’re accommodating, and the organization that’s involved in pulling such a weekend off is mind boggling.
I walked in to their banquet and was blown away by the setup of the room and the details that were taken care of to make it as exciting as possible. From the lighting, to the stage, to the confetti raining down, the video screens. You could tell that a huge amount of planning and effort went in to ensuring that these boys would have the time of their lives.
Thank you to all who are involved in ensuring that our boys are taken care of in the best possible way, both b’gashmius and b’ruchniyus!”
With so many who work tirelessly on every detail to make it a success, the Shluchim Office, which organizes the program, invited the Head Staff to an event to recognize and thank them for a job well done. Joining the event and sharing a special thank you was the director of the Shluchim Office Rabbi Gedalya Shemtov.
Enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner, the Bochurim sat around the fire and shared inspiration from their experience.
“Organizing a program of this importance and magnitude is far from simple, and it is thanks to the incredible and devoted staff that makes it possible,” said Rabbi Berel Bendet, who directs the program. “It was a pleasure to be able to share some of the many letters we received from the parents and Young Shluchim, full of appreciation and gratitude, with the head staff.”
“My son was crying a few weeks before the Kinus how he didn’t have any seforim of the Rebbe,” wrote another parent. “In an amazing hashgacha protis, he ended up winning one of the raffles on a set of seforim by the Grand Raffle at the banquet. He literally came back home in another world. Thank you so much for his incredible experience!”
A special thank you to Kehot Publication Society for their generous sponsorship of the seforim, as well as Rabbi Chaim N. Cunin for the Torah Chumashim.
Joining the event and sharing words of inspiration was renowned author and lecturer Rabbi Shais Taub, who shared thoughts on connecting to the Rebbe during this season with so many auspicious days on the Chassidishe calendar. He also gave insight and special appreciation to those present about the importance of this holy work – caring for the Shluchim.
Video highlights from the Kinus and grand banquet were shown, helping bring some of the joyous memories to life.
A special thank you goes to Rabbi Kasriel and Chana Shemtov for graciously hosting the event.

I was so impressed by the care, efficiency and responsibility of the staff. Even though it was such a huge event, with so many kinderlach, the attention given to my grandson, one little child, was unbelievable! Amazing… Also, my emails were answered immediately – such a positive experience. And of course, my grandson was thrilled – besides having so much fun, it gave him much chassidishe chayus!!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
