Security forces and vehicles were seen on Brooklyn Avenue in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.
It was the outcome of a joint investigation by the New York Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The house they raided together, between Empire Blvd and Montgomery Street, was a private residence and in it they found multiple firearms.
They took its inhabitants into custody and recovered illegal weapons including assault riffles – similar to the weapons used in the mass shooting in Las Vegas.

i see no reason why one would broadcast that he/she is walking around with a gun, except in the rare instance when such information would actually serve as a deterrent to criminals in the vicinity. .
I totally agree with number 30 I do carry a gun concealed every day for that exact reason and I do train with it regularly. I think outside of NY you will be surprised how many lubavitchers already carry, they just don’t advertise it. It still seems to be somewhat taboo to talk about although it shouldn’t be.

The fact that these people were running such a gun operation in a regular neighborhood tells you how many more are run in the bad areas and aren’t cought. in the 2nd amendment, there was not the great proliferation of war, death, and terror weapons available as there are now. But while most settlers and farmers did have guns they did not own cannons etc.!

America of today is different than the early years of America when the threat of terrorism or mass murder was minute to nonexistent, each shot had to be reloaded separately and farmers lived alone and unprotected. These types of weapons are normally not hoarded in normal residential neighborhoods, whether you call them assault or defense rifles. The right to bear arms and the 2nd amendment does not apply to these types of weapons of war and terror!
